Hey everyone!! Can you believe it’s already AUGUST?? It’s almost time for the kiddos to head back to school. Summer is fading fast but before it goes I thought I’d tell you about ANOTHER GEM from the FABULOUS Meghan Quinn!! I have to say, we all have that LONG (LONG LONG LONG…well at least MINE is that way) list of to be read books. Well THIS book needs to go TO THE TOP! While ‘Twisted Twosome’ is a stand-alone romantic comedy, it does contain characters from Meghan’s other 2 romantic comedy books ‘CO-Wrecker’ and ‘My Best-Friend’s Ex’ (see review I posted for this one last month).
“There’s a thin line between love and hate…”
We’ve all heard and/or used that line before but not quite in the sense Meghan does. Meet Racer: a broody, rude, irratble unbearable bastard that been hired as a contractor to remodel a client’s pool house for extra cash. There he meets Georgiana, the “spoiled rich girl princess” daughter of his client. To say they rub each other wrong is putting it midly…hijinks ensue! Pranks, banter and eye rolls run amok while the tension between them heats up.
Soon it becomes apparent that maybe stereotypes may be wrong and these two might have more in common than the lust they both feel.
It bears repeating that Meghan Quinn has a foolproof way to pull the emotions out of you and not just tickle your funny bone (although she does that very well). Her characters are multi-faceted with their hang-ups and baggage. Meghan gives you real, everyday character that are easy to identify with and easy to love. The snarky banter and practical jokes aside this is a truly great read that will have you questioning first impressions.
Meghan Quinn has elevated romantic comedies to the stratosphere. This is one author that EVERYONE should have on one-click! This book is sure to rise to the top quickly and with good cause! It’s a definite MUST READ ASAP (and if you haven’t checked out the other two books DO IT NOW)!!
