Something Beautiful by Jamie McGuire

This story is amazing. It was so nice to get a closer look into Shepley and Americas story.  Shepley Maddox and America Mason are at a crossroads in their relationship. While everyone in their circle seems to be getting married, moving in together and making babies these two just can’t seem to move on to their next step.

Shepley knows there is no other girl on the planet more perfect for him than America Mason. If only Shep could get Mare on the same life path he is on. If it were up to him, he would have had a ring on Her finger a long time ago.

America has loved Shepley since their first date, but moving too fast is not something she wants for herself. Her fear is Shepley only wanting to marry her just because their best friends are married. So she told Shep no when he asked her to marry him…twice. America always felt the timing was just not right. But has time goes on Mare worries she made the wrong choice.

Now that a couple years have passed and their love for each other is still strong, both Mare and Shep are ready for marriage but both are too scared to ask the other.

One stormy summer night will change everything for this couple. Will the love they share be strong enough to get them through what life and Mother Nature has in store?

Jamie McGuire does such an amazing job telling a story. I always find my self laughing and crying out loud every time I read her work and this story was no different. I’m still sniffling as I write this review. The story was beautifully told, and I was so thrilled with the ending. I can’t wait to see what is next the for the Maddox clan.
